  • Any information we receive from you for the purpose of purchasing products or inquiring about products will always remain confidential.
    We will never share your contact information or share it with other businesses (unless there is a legal requirement to do so, for example in the case of a product recall).



  • Consumer Agreement
  • Paypal notice: Due to the way my shopping cart communicates with Paypal, if you choose Paypal as your payment method, it will do so in US dollars. I will refund you the difference when I process your purchase. You can always choose Print and Call and ask me to send you a Paypal Invoice in your comments instead, so that the transaction is fully in Canadian Dollars. Sorry for the inconvenience! I will be moving providers when my current contract is up.


  • Shipping & Delivery
  • Local pick up is always free! New $10.00 flat rate shipping to Canada and the US. Free shipping on orders over $100 within Canada. Shipping to the US is done via Canada Post. Standard shipping to the US is via Small Parcel Surface. To upgrade to Small Parcel Air, please purchase upgrade for $5.00 under Shipping - shipping upgrade. Shipping within Canada may be done via Canada Post or UPS. For international shipping, please contact us for a custom quote.


  • International
  • Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
    Shipping laws are different in each country. You should check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. Ottawa Valley Fiber Arts is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.


  • Sales Tax
  • Ottawa Valley Fiber Arts charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable provincial and federal sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped. Residents of Ontario: 8% PST and 5% GST Residents of Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick: 13% HST Residents of Canada: 5% GST

  • If there is a problem, please contact us, and we'll do our best to address your concerns. If it is a problem with a product, and I can't fix it, return it to me, and I'll make sure you get a replacement, or a refund. Communication is the key to solving any problem, so please e-mail or call us. We'll work something out.
